well, Magical Network 2008 is over!! Its the annual stage for freshmen who just joined the Magic Club.
I had mine last year, so it was my juniors' turn this year...I participated as a staff though.
I was quite sad that some of them didn't manage to perform the best out of them.
But anyway, the first stage of my cute juniors was so touching that I cried after the whole performance.
Hope none of them will quit... (T T)

And about the courses I took this sem...I'm enjoying Volleyball very much.
I'll be attending the Waseda Sports Fest next month too :) Haha, i can't believe i'm being so active.

I went for work at Shin-Okubo after class today, I seriously need to find a regular job or else i'm hopelessly broke...
Going for a job interview this friday :)

After work, my sis and I went to this Korean restaurant called COPAIN COPINE in Yurakucho. Actually karpie is working as a part time magician there :p So he performed some close-up magic for us.

What a way to start the new semester.

3gen: European Union and French Culture
The teacher came in 15 min late...and he ended the class in 30min :p
He said 'we'll start serious work next week'... haha....

4-5gen: Biological Anthropology
The textbook costs 9000yen!!!! Its crazy manz....I'm going to buy a copy from Amazon.
Prof Uchida ended the class in an hour plus. Made a couple of SP3 friends.

And the Odakyu Travellers Centre has not called me so i guess they are not employing me...
Time to look for another job...GAHHHHHH
My boss from the juku I worked at previously sent me a mail today...sharks, can i just ignore it x(

i'm thinking of...

dropping [collapse of complex societies] and adding [selected topics in media studies]...
so that i can earn 8 credits(instead of 6) from advanced courses.

i went to the SILS office this afternoon to transfer the 4 credits i earned from the COH program.
I really wish i could study in COH again...i don't think i'll choose research as a career, but it definitely was a significant experience for me, and it made me want to pursue my interests in science. Had a talk with prof Uchida the other day at her office, and she was telling me how universities in the US are different from the ones in Japan.

Got a lovely postcard from Brisbane today. Thanks so much, JEAN!!!!! :)

okinawaaa

back from okinawa :) we were really lucky cos the typhoon didn't strike okinawa and it was sunny throughout the whole trip :)
The flight to okinawa was partly affected though...but thankfully it wasn't cancelled

Day 1: Arrived at Naha Airport. Went to Kokusai-Doori for shopping.
Day 2: Went to Zamami Island for their beach and snorkeling. The sea was sooooo clean and blue, the corals were beautiful and there were so many fishes(including big ones) swimming around the area
Day 3: Checked out of the hotel, went to Shurijo, the world heritage. And headed to the airport for the flight back to Tokyo.

All in all, it was a short but a splendid trip :)
Uploading photos next time...i need some sleep (><)

AND OMG!!!!!!!!
The advanced course 'Global Environmental System' I registered for is over-enrolled!!!!
Gotta register for another advanced course...
Maybe i should register for the ski-course in february...helps me earn 2 credits in 5 days intensive skiing course.
Should give it a try since i am poor at skiing :(

i think i'm spending too much money in TSUTAYA
i've been renting countless DVDs and CDs to kill my time.

Lets see... things that i rented

The Sweetest Thing  starring Cameron Diaz
Moulin Rouge. Gosh, it was really good
WOMAN 7 CD, for my ipod
Utada Hikaru latest album. Prisoner of Love is a dramatic song.
Sex and the City Series

I watched Sex and the City the movie in the theatres the other day with my bf...and found it a total mistake...
the theatre was packed with girls, and after the movie, he got even more confused of why girls are such weird people....according to him.

so lesson learnt, never watch sex and the city with ur bfs.

for now, i've been watching sex and the city drama series alone in my room, and i love it.
I'm reading the novel too, but its embarassing  to read it in the train cos everybody's attention will be drawn to the first word of the title printed so largely on the cover.

another 2 weeks of summer holidays..trip to okinawa next week :)
